Dirty Park

We stayed for one night passing through and I’m glad it was only one night. The Canadian Geese have made a complete mess of this campground. I felt like a drunken sailer walking to the bathrooms as I had to zigzag to avoid the crap! Washrooms we’re disgusting and I turned away as soon as I walked in the door. Garbage corral area we’re disgusting too! I’d never return to this park.

Weekenders Delight!

This is a clean but older camp ground. Many building have been updated. It had been 25 years since I was here last. Great location for weekend warriors from Winnipeg area. The town has a fully equipped grocery store, restraunt, gift shops and all reasonably priced. No gouging here! So no worries if you forget something at home. Bikes/hiking trails are all accessible and people of all ages can have a great time. The beach is great. Great boat access to both the dock and beach. Locals take their boats and go out to the far 2 bays opposite end on the east from the main beach to swim, fish and rock jump off the cliffs. Full LTE cell service and the list goes on.
