Relax and Enjoy
Beautifully treed, quiet, rustic camping along the Highwood River with a friendly staff and only 20 minutes from Calgary and Okotoks. Definitely not an asphalt parking lot. Excellent playground for the kids and river beach to enjoy. The long weekend we were there, they showed a family friendly movie at the playground and there was a band playing at the beach. We'll be back!

Best Camping Ever!
Man, I can't stop telling people about how awesome this place is! It's a quaint little place, with lots of personality. The staff were great, and the place was clean. Definitely would recommend!

When you enter, still see how the flood damaged the campground (where we were) making it more like a gravel pit with a scenic hill backdrop. The other end has grass and the entire grounds still has lots of trees. Power is only 110 (house) so limited what you run. The river is nice and clear with a beach area. The low star rating for me...price vs grounds and hook ups. At $41 a night, heavily rocked area...no.....but the dog found places to lie down. In time it will come back.
