CITY PART
The park area is very pretty and clean. The RV parking and tent camp parking, It was kind of a just pretty much a dirt area that's along the border of the road on the south end of the park. There are areas to park. There are some picnic tables and some of the charcoal type barbecue areas. It's generally pretty good, it's not in Park, where you're going to get all of your services and sewage electrical and WI. Fi, but it's a good place for a stop. you can stay up 3 days. I gave it a pour just because it's a free place. You can put donation in the donation box. The park is nice. It's pretty quiet over here, but there is a train track that runs by the east side of the park, and we shall see how noise it is tonight.

Only 6 spots with electrical. Others are non electrical. There is a skate park for kids and other courts. Trains running through but not too bad. My husband is a light sleeper so it bother him but not the rest of us.
There was potable water and a dump site. Great for free/donations requested.

What A Great Find
Can't beat the price! We got the last electric site. A little tight, but doable. Sites aren't perfectly level, but with leveling equipment nearly all RVers carry, it can be dealt with. Park has a basketball court the kids can bounce a ball in, tracks around the field for walking or bike riding. So grateful to the city for providing this. We gave a donation, bought groceries, and did 3 wks worth of laundry (laundromat is .6 mi from camp site) to return a little to the community. This is a great place and I can't believe some complained about it. We would stay again.

Great small town city RV Park with electric, water, and dump. Park has tennis courts, frisbee golf, playground an next to nice swimming pool ang ball fields. There is a train track nearby but for free what should we expect??!! Big 5th wheel is next to us so think it will accommodate more than our 25 foot Class C with toad!! Town has brewery and steakhouse and off leash dog park!! Hats off to town of Wheatland!!

FREE CAMPING!
This is a beautiful park. It's very clean and well taken care of. There are 6 electrical spots, 10 non-electric and some tent spots. We have a 30 ft trailer and had no problems with space.
It's on the back side of town away from the highway, but very easy to find. There is a three day limit for camping. The dump was free and it was just outside the park as we pulled out. Great location! We would love to stay here again.

FREE Over Night
Traveling from Colorado to the Black Hills, this was a nice FREE place to stay for just one overnight. We have 3 small children and there are 3 really nice parks onsite. They have tennis courts, a skate park, covered pavilions, all well kept. The RV spots themselves are very basic, but provides 50 amp service at sites. Water is across from sites and dump is on the other end of the parking lot. Train tracks near by but didn't bother us. 4 Bars LTE for Verizon. Would definitely stop here again.

Rudimentary electric, water across the road from the sites, which were overgrown grass and not level. Free, and worth every penny.

Stayed there in early October, got tired of fighting the wind. Basic electric, no water at our site. Was glad to find it and get off the interstate and 50 mph crosswind gusts.
