Excellent park....in a great location.

Nice place, clean and quiet. Showers are pay, would be nice if they had machine to take dollar bills. Had to walk to gas station to get quarters a half mile away.

Have stayed many times and Thompson's is like a second home. No reservations taken but we've always found a spot with arrival Tuesday thru Thursday. Rates are $27 per night as of 2018. Showers are $.25 for 3 minutes. Shower/toilets are maintained daily. On our June 2018 trip we were a little disappointed at the lawn maintenance. Yes, they had lots of rain but the grass was long! Our campsite was water filled except for the parking pad. Handle was broken in men's shower. Still remains a favorite for us!

Nice Campground On Lake Shore

Nice campground with lovely beach . Plenty of space and quiet. Only downside is no water connection on each site and they took two days (not over weekend) to clear rubbish dumps. But what you get for the money is pretty awesome.
