We’ve stayed at this Beautiful campground a few times now and we were camp hosts once also. We enjoy the Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The fall season is especially beautiful!! There is NO additional fee for the beach when you camp here however.

First ACOE Stay

Sites are level side-to-side, but many are sloped down from the road. Use wheel chocks!! Big sites with good undergrowth for privacy, heavily shaded. The horse camp is very open with zero shade, and are sloped UP from the road. No firewood sold in the park, you have to find it outside. Lots of trails and some excellent ranger-created geocaches. Use of the beach requires an additional fee.
