Stayed at site 303 from Friday-Sunday with the family (boyfriend, 4 kids aged 6,6,7,8) Check-in was annoying. Arrived at 6:50pm and were provided no info after informing the attendant that we were camping. Had to ask for a map and pull off to the side to open the 8-fold map to figure out where the site was. Arrived at the site to find that someone else’s name was listed. Called the park office - no answer. Drove back to the entrance to discuss and were told to set up anyway. Once set up, site was a great size and felt secluded. Trail through the woods led to the playground and showers which were relatively clean. The trails explored were paved and perfect length for the kids at around 1 mile each way. The falls were beautiful but quite crowded - it was difficult to stick together with so many people around.

$53
Electric only at site. Water and dump available at 300 loop. We felt it was way overpriced at $40 + $13 park fee (nonresident). Friendly staff but find out what your paying before you hand them your credit card.

Excellent Employees
Everybody informative and friendly. #300 loop tight for large trailers. Beautiful clean campsites, well maintained. The walk to the falls is steep but paved {note to ranger, thanks for the warning} but well worth the hike. The lake on site has been drained but fun to see. The falls are beautiful and accessable via the steep trail. Easy drive for a day trip to Minneapolis

Beautiful Gem
Midweek and uncrowded. Stayed in campground 100 for 3 nights. Only Electric but dump available at exit. Huge private sites and easy access to showers/toilets from everywhere. Wonderful trail to waterfall right from camp. Nice childrens playground. Loved this place.
