First Time There
Had a great time but I don’t like the sites are very tight and have boulders at the end which makes it difficult to exit with a big Rv I would go back

Good Location, Terrible Park
Sites 28-55 are TINY, no shade, full afternoon sun- so if you like to sit outside after a day of adventuring forget it, you’ll roast to death. And you are only the width of a picnic table from your neighbors on either side. I’d also never stay in a tent site here as they are VERY far from the one, filthy bathhouse. Also there’s some sort of water treatment facility or something behind the campground that makes an awful buzzing sound 24 hours a day.
My biggest complaint was that we were charged a “resort fee” when most things were closed. The jumping pillow was open for four hours on Sunday, then closed all week. Why can’t that just be open all the time??? It’s not attended anyway- makes no sense. Also the park website mentions “free pancakes” in at least 3 places, when we got there we were told pancakes were now $1 each “because of COVID.” What?!?
Lots of unleashed dogs & poop everywhere- no dog poop bags provided by KOA.
It is in a great location- walkable to Visitors Ctr/shuttle

Don’t Stay
Typical KOA! All show no service. The agent assigned us a tent site for our motor home twice. After driving the park looking for our site, which we never found. We were assigned another tent site. After talking to an agent again we were given a very small site among all the pop-up campers. We could hardly get our small motor home into it (24 ft). Agents were not happy we would not stay on a tent site. Very loud and crowded. We did not stay. We left with out a refund . We had waisted two hours going around and around. No KOA ever.

Will Not Stay Again
Staff unhelpful, garbage dumpsters overflowing, fire pits full of garbage, sites not level, and generally unpleasant.

Stay Away
No escort to site. Site was not level and very tight. Path into site was too tight for 35 foot travel trailer, thank God for other campers.
Idiots behind us left a car, with noisy exhaust (crapbox) running for over an hour. Nobody but the guy at the gate seems to care.
NEVER AGAIN.
BTW, KOA review never came through, what’s that tell ya?
NEVER AGAIN!

Very pricey!! The manager only wants to make money. She doesn't care about employees or campers. I would rate it less but had to give atleast a one star rating. There several underlying "extra" charges that are not published.

Our Stay
The price is too high for two adults for a campground that is set up for a good amount of activities for children. I new this was a resort KOA but they should offer different pricing for couples who are just there with out kids. They allow pets but don’t enforce the rules about picking up after your pet. There are people walking their pets right through your sites and not picking up after them. Second day there went to use the restrooms but was unable to since people plugged up the toilets. The staff should really monitor the bathrooms better.
The campsites are nice and level but really close together and your neighbor sewer line in right in front of you steps.

Great Location, Not The Greatest Park
Arrived on time, met by a friendly young man. Knew very little about the park and no help with local historic sites. First time ever at a KOA that I wasn't escorted to and shown my site. Cable TV outlet had a female end so they charged me for a coupler. Pull through site was level and all gravel. Dog park is small but functional. Laundry facilities are open to the community outside the park; clean, lots of washers and dryers. Mini-putt available, pool in season. Then the construction started. I appreciate the need to do work and in an all year park, there is no down time, but construction noise and rumbling equipment from 8 AM To 5 PM every day and without warning is a not what I am paying for. Otherwise the property is pretty and it is close to several historic parks and destinations. I doubt I will be back.

Big Campers beware
Staff was nice, and friendly. Laundry room was nice size. If you have a camper longer then 38 feet some spots are very tight or depending on your arrival /departure time you will not be able to get in or out. Especially when someone parks their vehicle in an area when you need all the room you can get. Some big RV spots were very un level. I use all my wooden blocks and RV Legos and had just enough to level out. They had plenty of room for smaller campers and those sites appeared to be level. I would go back but will make sure I can get to my site before I drive to it.

First Time Visit
Last minute reservations to Harper's Ferry KOA. Upon arrival, registration was lacking a thorough overview of the weekends events, site maps were off, sites were missing numbers and no assistance finding the actual site.
Later that day, after being on site completely hooked up and enjoying Happy Hour, a staff member came via golf cart to inform us we were on the wrong site and had to move. The staff was not willing to work with us and told us to go to the office. After reaching the office, the staff person told us we had to move and wouldn't tell us who the camper in question was. My wife and I found them and they graciously changed locations without any issue. The site was directly across the street and actually better. Come to find out, the KOA staff was reluctant to refund a $20 hold fee.. unreal considering what they charge.
Finally, it seemed like you were townhouse camping. Every site was very close and sites were difficult to navigate on and off sites.

First Class Operation But Very Expensive
Top notch facilities, well maintained and clean but the price for a site that wasn't a full hook up was outrageous
