Tight Spaces!! Way Overpriced!

The people that run this campground are constantly overwhelmed in summer it makes them bitter and rude ! It’s the only decent Rv park in all of the gorge unless you like dirt tent campgrounds with no hookups in the middle of nowhere! They price gouge just like all the rest ! It’s not bad for overnight but would never pay the outrageous price to stay and get bad attitude from management way too many rules for just an ok campground that’s just a parking lot of a Chinese mini market!

Very pretty campground, and friendly staff. Individual sites were pretty, but a little close. Our site was right above the RR tracks. The trains go by every hour. Sometimes twice each hour. We didn't get much sleep. Other sites away from tracks might have had less noise.

Small but nice park, nicely maintained. If you come in on the Oregon side of the Columbia River, you’ll have to cross a VERY narrow bridge and pay a toll (ours was $11 with tag & tow). You also have to contend with train noise. You’re very close to the river, but no view.

I am looking at a gas station out my front window, rvs packed like sardines out the other windows. This is the only year round rv place to stay in the Hood River Oregon area, traveling in February 2018. Normally, I would give a place like this 3 stars but having to pay $52 per night, an extra couple dollars for coin operated showers, and a $6 toll across the ricketyest bridge hundreds of feet inn the air above the Columbia River = 2 stars. We stayed in February 2018, no other places open with hookups. Only other option is Wal-Mart. I give it 2 stars BUT I never plan my route or where I will stay for the night preferring to adventure it and see where I land when traveling. I use this app to figure it out when I feel time to stop for the night so, the takeaway is: keep traveling to find more reasonable accommodations or get what you get and don't throw a fit, just pay the bigger bucks.

Nice Park Close To Hood River

Nice paved park with full hookup. Owners are very nice and keep the place sparkling. Close to wineries, brew pubs and everything else in the Columbia River Gorge. Hood River a five minute drive tops.

Nice Place

Dropped in with no reservations. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. We only stayed one night. Our experience was positive. Nice dog area. Leashes are required but we had our corgi off leash in the dog area so he could play off leash with a black lab. No issues. Yes, we heard the trains but no issues for us or our dogs. We took a taxi to town and waited about 10 minutes for a cab. Overall: great place.

Terrible Owners

The couple that runs this place are the absolute worst. Not to mention the train literally goes right thru the park and is LOUD. Spaces are extremely tight too. Stay anywhere else.

Drive In On Hwy 14 - Avoid Scary Bridge

Level paved spots. Expensive according to me.. nice bathrooms. Scary bridge RIGHT at RV park - try to come in/out on 14 of you can! ;) could hear train all night - not overly obnoxious..

Very nice and clean park, nice view. The train went by all night long, I would go back in a pinch
