Great Park Close To The City

Beautiful campground with sites right next to the river. Lots of trails. The only negative is, not enough campsites. Very nice and helpful lady ranger.

40 elec & water token for showers - get at office. Beautiful views. Reserved sites not marked and I set up and a pissed off camper told me I was in his reserved site. I packed up and unplugged and moved. Left me and other guy upset. Not a happy moment but otherwise nice place. Very tight road to get here but big sites and nice layout.

Goose Poop

Awesome camping right on the river suspension bridge and lots of trails. Also LOTS of goose poop in the camps and people have been feeding them no fear

Nice (Big) Park!

Nice park, not far from Spokane. Very nice staff. Not all sites have electric. Showers require tokens that can be bought at ranger station. Lots of nice hiking and biking trails. Great view of river from trails and suspension bridge. About $35-45/ night.

RV Camper

We camped with our trailer in the upriver campground. No cement pads so the trailer floor needed lots of sweeping. It was nice being right on the river although the small trek down was a little sketchy; lots of big rocks and at times steep and slippery dirt trails to maneuver. The river was deep and slow enough we were able to use out paddle boards.

Even though the park is just west of Spokane, WA you feel like you are far away from town. Very nice scenery to see. Always my first choice.
