TOP Coastal NP in West!
This beautifully mainted NP is among our TOP 25 ranking at the top with loads of activites, location and for tenting, campers & small RVs (under 21'). After settling in, take a short drive to RIALTO beach and catch a bucket of fresh SURF PERCH to grill up. Every cast! No license required. Campground is great all year round! Perfect base camp for All 4 fishing seasons (WA State license Required). Every species (Coho, King, Steelhead & cutthroat) fish swim up this river before reaching upper rivers systems of Sol Duc, Boggy and Calawa. There is a secret trail to an awesome fishing hole but required experienced anglers with waders and great sense of direction (GPS) to find and stay on the well lightly maintained trail by others.
TIPS and SECRETS:
1. No power or hookups. Excellent maintained fire pits/sites/picnic tables for boondocking.
2. Great pump station. Please help keep area clean.
3. Safe for kids to bike.
4. Rangers / Hosts = Great!
5. COVER food at all times outside! Birds.

Beautiful
Lush forested cg with sites that are private/semi-private. Most sites are relatively short but I found most allowed my 25' to to fit easily. No hookups but does have a dump station and water to fill rvs. Trails to beach and around lake. Rialto beach is just down the road, and dogs are allowed along beach trail to creek. One of the better NP campgrounds. First come/served, so pick an open spot, place something in the site to claim it, then go pay and place tag on boards near bathrooms. Would definitely camp here again.

We Always Come Back
I'm a big fan of this place. Of Camp tears several times family and love its proximity. If you love walking on the beach this is a place to stay Rialto Beach is awesome and amazing. Also close to the HOH Olympic rainforest. Other sites are first second and third Beach. Only downside is you can't reserve a spot it's first come first serve.

Loved this campground, it's an awesome experience sleeping in a rainforest! However there are no hookups, and sites are not large enough for big RVs.
