Pulled in at the end of July with temperatures in the high nineties. There were few trees for shade and a lot of lake sports activity all around. We decided it wasn’t the kind of experience we were looking for so we moved on to a forest service campground on highway 2 closer to our destination.

Changes In Latitude
Beautiful lake with lots of ducks. Can walk from the park across the road into town. The park isn't fancy but it's roomy and practically vacant in October and it's really pretty. Level and clean spots. We're outdoors people and we stopped here because it's close to hiking.

Great Picnic Spot
We stopped in here for a picnic lunch on our way through. Nice clean park on a reservoir, great playground for kids and swimming spot.
