Camano Island State Park

Both the dump station and the potable water pump are both closed. All the water fill stations are turned on but backed up. When I asked why things were closed I was told that they had a major septic backup! Why is the park still open? This is big public health hazard.

This is a first- come first- serve state park. No utilities but is a very nice campground with great views and trails everywhere.

No longer a first come, first served campground. Walk ups are still allowed, but only for one night, then you need to check the list for availability the next morning. Tents and smaller trailers/rvs work better here (no utilities though). Beautiful place. Fun walking down to the beach and around the trails.
