Nice campground near the beaches. About 2-4miles from the restaurants. Very cozy and horrible road going in with tons of roots. Go slow! It was ok for the 35footer. But state parks always better serve those who really want to camp. Lovely park. Fairly clean facilities.

Funky
The big loop was closed in October. Lots of sites available in the small loop. Some hookups. Beautiful location on the bay. Biking and walking

A Great Choice
This state park is one of our favorites. The sites are close together but there are lots of trees and each site has plenty of room for all of your gear. The restrooms and showers are the nicest I have seen in any state park. There are walking trails and a path to the beach from the campground. There are no full hook up sites and just a few w/e sites. Birch Bay has a couple of small restaurants and a water slide park but not much else. The park fills up on summer weekends so reservations are a must.

Great Park
Updated restrooms probably the most clean I've ever seen in a park. On the weekends in the summer they offer activities for the family. We had a chance to see some really neat birds. $20-$40 depending on which site you pick.

Very Nice!!
Have to pay for showers if you don't have an RV, fire wood not for sale, buy it off site. Very close to ocean, massive redwoods everywhere provide lots of shade. Sun seekers will find plenty by the ocean. Would definitely come back!

Loved Our Stay
Stopped in while traveling through! Absolutely loved it. Big trees in the campground and a nice path down to the beach.
