I did not like this campground. Pull through site four is not very safe. My rear camper bumper gouged the ground when I pulled in. Pulling out I thought I was going to loose control and flip over. During Hurricane Sally, the manager was out in the rain arguing about one of the roads that was one way but not marked as such. The gravel road was difficult to walk on. The shower house was nice but was built on a hill. No sidewalk or path. Had to walk through wet grass and it was steep. No safe level place to park for the shower.

Friendly And Helpful
Very nice little campground. Full hook up sites. As others have said, they are gravel and fairly level. Staff was very helpful. Call before they close though if you're coming in late.

Very Nice
Owners were nice and helpful, bathrooms very clean, sites are close together, no trees no shade no privacy, only stayed a night but would come back to explore a bit

Great Stay!
We’ve stayed at this campground 3 other times but this is the first time in writing a review. The campground has a variety of camping options, tent, cabin, motel and RV full hookups. This is favorite spot for us. We have been traveling around the US now for 3 years. I prefer smaller campgrounds with all the amenities and this one matches everything on my list. The campground is very clean with grassy hills and beautiful views. The Blue Ridge Parkway scenic overlooks are within easy walking distance and the foliage is amazing, so green with bountiful wildflowers everywhere. Sites are gravel side by side and surrounded by woods and grass meadows. It is quiet and peaceful and very pet friendly!

Stayed here for fiddlers convention, owners were so nice. Wonderful shower/bathrooms. Beautiful views. A little close, but very nice stay.

This is a wonderful little campground. Right on the Blue Ridge parkway,
located at about mile post 203. The owners ,Charlie and Jen, are very helpful and friendly. The grounds and facilities are very well-maintained. The private showers are among the best we’ve seen.

Pristine
Just Wow! Gorgeous orchards, trails, very clean bath houses (5 private). The owners were so very kind. The sunset was beautiful and you could see so many stars. This is definitely a great overnighter or a weekend getaway.

Beautiful, peaceful campground in an orchard right on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Campsites a little small & The only flat area was the pad, Gravel hard to walk on & fire pit down over the hill,, liked that it was centrally located for drives into Galax for the Fiddlers Convention, Mt. Airy and Hillsville. Beautiful new private bathrooms and very friendly helpful owners

What A Treat
How nice to have found this campground right on the Blue Ridge Parkway! Peaceful, gorgeous sunset views, and the nicest people. We only required a tent site, which was lovely and very well kept, with even a raised grill to use in each site! but we were the only ones there, and spaces are pretty small. Had it be at capacity we would have felt a bit crammed. There are trails and orchards all around, so magical! We’d definitely stay again!

Would Go Back
I loved this little place. It was rainy and the whole time I was there, so I didn't get to enjoy the trails, the peaceful open spaces, or even my site's nice wooden patio. But I did appreciate the warm and welcoming check-in, the fantastic private bathrooms instead of locker room shower stalls, and the quiet. They have rv sites, tent sites, cabins, and a motel. RV sites are a little small, but still I would definitely stay here again.

Happy Camper At This KOA
This is a wonderful place to camp great sites not on top of each other. Friendly and helpful staff free pancake breakfast on Saturday and pulled barq on Friday night. Some sites even have their own dog lots. They have a store that has everything you need and a pond for fishing you just have to throw back unless you wasn't to spend 10. No road noise very quiet campground I will be back
