Nice!
We really enjoy camping here! This place has a state park feel! Big mature trees throughout the entire campground, lots of hiking/biking trails, bigger sites with room to spread out, nice well kept bathhouses, several different playgrounds for the kids & friendly helpful park rangers. However there are a few things you should have knowledge of. The main road throughout the campground is a little steep in areas and might be a little tight for bigger campers like a large 5th wheel or class A motorhome enenthough we have seen those type campers in there. Most all the roads and sites are gravel, there are no full hookup sites but there is a dump station, every site has electrical hookup but water is shared. The wifi signal is good & some sites have cable but some do not. Bath houses are clean and overall well kept. Most of the time it's not very crowded and you can get a site without a reservation. Best of all at only $20/night it's very affordable!

Quiet shady town campground. Friendly ranger very helpful. Clean bath house. Perfect for our quick overnight stop. 75 sites with electricity but only 1in 10 had water. Close to interstate. $20. Good deal.

Great Affordable Place
$20 a night for 30 amp service. If you're near a water spicket its fine to hook up water. We stayed at 47 which had some slope to it. A lot of the sites do slope. The sites numbered in the 50's looked pretty flat. Not very busy.

Great Stopover Campground
We were traveling from Charleston, WV to Pigeon Forge on a very hot July 3 and figured a Walmart boonedock wasn't going to cut it to run our air conditioning so we scanned Park Advisor and found this little jewel not far from I81. It was adventurous coming in at 11:30pm in a 37' motor home but we found a spot with 50 amp service and rested comfortable. Our favorite feature was the thick tree canopy in the Campground made us feel we were really in the outdoors.

Sports fields at the front, very nice picnic areas further in, lots of camping for tents or trailers, choose your own spot. Electricity and water provided with some pull thru spots. Street lights at night. Tables, grill and fire pit at each spot. Has a dump station and bathroom/ shower shack. Beautiful streams and bike/ walking trails. Super cheap super nice.
