Good for The Night
I've parked here many times as a stopover between places. There's not much to see or do on this road. Just a good place to park. 7 or 8 large spots spaced out really well. Some spots are swampy and when it rains not a good idea to park in unless you have 4wd. Others are fine though. On weekends it can fill up fast so arrive early. During week generally easy to find spot. Some sites have trash dumped behind embankments bc people suck. Otherwise in decent shape and safe place to park in middle of woods. No cell service!

Free Camp
The place was not hard to find. The sign says close for winter. Free camp in the middle of forest?? Yup we'll take it. But just be careful to park here in the rain, some of the campgrounds have wet land. You might get stuck if you dont have 4x4. There were about 6 sites and 1 huge one at the end of road .

OK for Free
Close to Woodford State Park, there are about a half dozen sites. Most were in surprisingly good shape (June '17), but a couple had suffered from drinking party damage. Very quiet during my 2 day stay fortunately. No Verizon signal until entrance at Route 9. Barely able to make call. No data. Very little hiking. This is best used as a quick stopover between destinations. Woodford SP rocks!
