We made trip up from NC. The campground was really nice. The staff was super friendly. Was conveniently located to all the nearby towns. This part of the country is beautiful. I would highly recommend this place.

We Will Be Back

Great location!!! On the river with tubing and fishing. Close to many brewpubs and hiking trails. They even sell the local beer in their store.

Just ... OK!

Negatives: Dirt roads. Not enough grass at sites. Tight spots. Hear your neighbors burp! WiFi poor. But this is camping- 2 pools look nice but cold. Lots of kids and dogs. Positives: We backed up to woods- Nice views into the woods. New picnic table. Good location near breweries and other places. Shopping close by if needed.

Have stayed at several private campgrounds. This place is by far the best. The layout of the campground is great! Very few seasonal campers and separate from the over night RV campers. The tent campsites are separate as well and along the river. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Find

We spent 4 nights over 4th of July there and it was quiet, pleasant and we enjoyed it very much. This place has new owners since 2017 and they are working really hard to make it a great place. They have 2 pools, one heated, one not. All sites have grass and even the ones closest to the road are quiet but sunnier than the ones closer to the river. The tent sites are really nice, the river was a bit high after some heavy rain. Laundry is okay, the store has all kind of camping necessities and some other things. Great lounge to play or read with a big book exchange. Great location to see the area. We would stay there again.

Basic, but functional. Mostly seasonal but 30% for over nighters. Clean grassy average size sites. Two pools and clean. Toilets and Showers below KOA average and 25 cents but clean. If in the area it will do.
