Shady And Very Clean $$
Fossil Valkey is one of the nicest rv parks we have ever stayed in. They should have named it Made in the Shade because it has dense shade about all day long. The place is owned and operated by a father and son and the personal attention to detail really shows. The laundry, shower and restrooms are very clean and well kept. The camping areas are well kept and the owner is often nearby to ask questions. We will definitely make note of this place for future travel stays.

Everything was perfect! The parking spots are all shaded by mature trees. The place is kept in tip top shape. Bathrooms/showers are kept CLEAN! They are bright and spacious. Laundry facilities worked great. Close to groceries, hardware, gas. The owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful, made sure all our needs were met! Very dark and quiet at night. We had a wonderful stay!

A Little Bit Urban
Funny to find such a tightly placed facility in such a remote area. Fit in to the downtown fabric of Vernal. Works for one night. Toilets are hard to access due to the archaic security touch pads. The don’t always work. Nice enough sites with shade and grass.

Stayed here last week on our way to DNM, very quiet park with huge shade trees. Cable and internet were very good! Grocery store across the street as well as a local donut shop.
Some long-term units in the back that have seen their better days though.
Would stay here again.

Super Location
We absolutely LOVED our stay in Vernal! Blake was a wonderful host and gave us some great tips for our Harley rides! Vernal is a sweet community, very friendly and perfectly located between so many outdoor attractions...we will definitely return!

Nice
Super friendly staff. Mature trees so lots of shade. Quiet considering it is right on the main road. I liked how close restaurants and the grocery stores are. Convenient to walk to then. Don't miss going to the Dinosaur National Park, the museums and Flaming Gorge. I would have given 5 stars but the showers cost extra

Very nice people working there. Makes sure travelers using tailgaters for tv are in a good spot to get a signal. Shady but some traffic noise. Reasonably priced. Park is small.

Best little campground we stayed at on our 6300 mile trip. The owner and son keep the place clean and operational. Stayed an extra night to enjoy the solitude of the campground and the shade.

Nice little campground tucked into a grove of mature trees. The spaces are tight but the shade is fantastic. It doesn't feel like you are in a town even though you are in town. The highlight? The trees. The staff is very accommodating, the amenities are good with drive through sites for long RVs. Ours is 36'. The bathrooms and showers are spic and span. The surprisingly low fees of the campground are a big plus, especially when combined with the overall quality of the site.
