HUGE Area
There are almost an unlimited number of sites here. Most have stone fire rings but no other amenities. Some very small shrubs, maybe bristle pines, where you might get a little shade to sit in your lawn chair, but nothing that will shade a tent or RV. Great if you depend on solar to keep your batteries charged. Heard some generators. It would be brutally hot in the summer and muddy in the rain. Pretty clean area for a BLM site. Let's keep it that way. Pack it in, pack it out. If you turn down the road to the right after the cattle guard there is a wash that goes over the road with a pretty significant dip. Large motor homes, 5W's or TT's risk scraping the rear of their rig, so use caution. We have a 30' TT and dragged our rear stablizers a little. Recommend larger rigs stay on E Beas Lewis Rd and don't turn down S Beas Lewis. Scenery on the way in to die for. Very close to Capitol Reef. We would go out of our way to stay again.
