This is now Sun Outdoors Arches Gateway. Stayed for 4 days and wished we had a grass section but weren’t available. Not sure if they are any better but the space we had was called deluxe patio sites. Long concrete slab between each RV and a table. You literally are looking right at someone’s Rv window and can hear your neighbors as if they were with you. The grass sites aren’t much better. Your sharing the spot facing each other. Our Rv size is 25 ft and we felt squeezed . We didn’t spend a lot of time hanging out at campsite as there is so much to do in this area. The pool and the grounds and the views are very nice but I think they could of done a better job with not squeezing everyone in so close together.

Meh
6 nights was around 80$ a night. Really expensive. Pool was new, clean. Spots are not level but within leveling block range. Our end spot had the sewer higher than the cleanout on the camper, really a process to empty. Showers were big, clean, and nice. But, they were miserablly low water pressure. I filled a 1 gallon ziploc in 4 minutes....no joke. Spots are so close we couldnt open awning all the way. Abput 8" between slides. Would never stay here again.

6 Minutes Away from Arches National Park
Obviously visiting in June the temperatures are hot, but this RV resort has a nice pool to cool off in after spending the day at Arches National Park (only 6 minutes away). Other amenities include; clean showers, dog park, recreation area, and an Airstream Village. Workers in the site are helpful and friendly…also if you need to run into town it’s also minutes away.

Nice
Nice place. Staff was really nice. Everything was clean. Only negative thing I can say is the sites facing each other is a bit awkward. Our awning was almost touching the neighbors awning. Worth it to get a spot at the end of the row if you can. Would stay here again.

Only Bad Thing Was The Heat
Awesome park! Well maintained, super friendly staff, and nicest bathrooms we have encountered in an RV park. Showers are NOT coin operated, and the hot water was plentiful. The only bad thing, which was not the fault of the park, was trying to sleep in our roof-top-tent in the heat. Would recommend this park, even if it cost a bit more.

Great place. Met new friends. Moab is wonderful. UDOT had some highway work going on but didn’t bother the campground at all. The resort was conducting some light improvements and site maintenance as we were there in their off season. We managed. Great place would definitely revisit.

Not The Best
Hard to get into pull thru with a 30’ pull behind. Really cramped, only a few feet between your neighbors. Small shared patch of grass between campers with 2 picnic tables. No views to speak of and traffic noise. Dump trucks carrying road building materials thru the edge of campgrounds. Premium site cable didn’t work. Had to setups my satellite. Will not visit here again.

Nice Campground
Camped here last minute because our site at devil's garden was canceled due to the Covid. Very nice campground. Closest campground to the entrance of Arches. Clean campground with friendly staff and nice swimming pool. In the end we were glad to stay here vs. Devils garden because it was 100 degrees every day and the pool felt great after hiking. Recommend getting the deluxe site if you are looking for a pull through and want a more private site as the campsites are nose to tail parking so most of the sites you kind of share the outdoor area. The deluxe sites are on the ends of the rows so you have the space to yourself.

Excellent Place To Camp In Moab
The sites are nice, even though they are dirt/gravel. The office has a lot of gifts and items you might need, which we really appreciate. The pool is nice, laundry is nice, and the staff was all very helpful. The sites are tight, we have a 45’ class A with four slides. With our slides out and our neighbor’s slides out, there was barely enough room to walk between the coaches to access the hookups. But it’s a minor inconvenience, everything else was great. The grass area on our right side was nice and while we had to share it with our other neighbor, that’s part of RVing. We met some really nice people from other parts of the country. One unrelated note, you have to try Antica Forma in town!!! I love pizza, this was the best pizza I’ve ever had. In Moab Utah of all places. Seriously, try it. We didn’t eat there until our last night in town and have regretted that ever since. Anyway, this rv park is very nice and we will definitely stay here again when we are back in Moab.

One other thing... I think most sites are 30 amp, which was ok, and our 38 ft rig was a tight fit.

Interesting
I haven’t had much experience with the nose to nose parking but basically it means that you and the rv next to you are parked in opposite directions. It would really be cool if your traveling with another rv and you could share the grass space together. We really liked this park though. Nice grass, clean bathrooms, nice pool and hot tub. $88 a night. Moab is gorgeous and the sunset grill just down the street has a spectacular view but can’t tell you how the food is.

Great Location, Tight Spots, High Cost.
Passing through, this was a tough park for us. Our rig barely fit and the extra parking is reserved and charged. Spots are narrow and don’t accommodate the tow vehicle for longer setups. If we were staying for a while, it may have been OK. Full featured and walking distance from trailheads in the Canyon. River flows next to it, so the location is great. Just wasn’t worth the cost for a one night stay.

Don’t Waste Your Time
Sun Resorts manages this and one other park in the Moab area. We called in the middle of the week and after waiting on hold for 48:30 (really, this is no exaggeration) we finally hung up. This is the worst reservation system that I have ever encountered in my 30 plus years of RVing. They truly must not care about customer service.
