We arrived mid morning on a Sunday trying to get 1 of the first come first serve sites here and were successful. Had tried for reservations many days before but it was fully booked. Only 7 sites available and 4 campers spent the night. Fully booked? The cliff side trail has great views, we mountain biked and the rocks were a challenge. Bathroom is tiny tiny but clean. In the evening we had a big horn sheep visit, morning was a pronghorn. Neither seemed bothered by people.

Peaceful primitive campground off road to Red Canyon visitor center. Steps from canyon rim and rim trail with great views.
