Site is secluded and quiet. Very close to the reservoir. Must back trailer in which requires experienced driver. Watch out for large boulders inconveniently placed throughout the campground. Site #8 is covered with crushed rock instead of smooth gravel. The rock is covered in a fine, chalky, white dust that gets everywhere. I expect to get dirty and dusty when camping but this was excessive. The crushed rock is very sharp. My two younger kids fell on the rocks and both ended up with several cuts each. The reservoir is covered with moss which made it very difficult to fish. We stayed in mid-August so I’m sure it is peak season for moss. We reserved two nights but only stayed one night. I felt limited to being in our trailer the whole time because of the poor fishing conditions and the crushed rock covering the campsite. I can’t speak to the other sites but wouldn’t recommend site #8.
