Nice Little Stay
We had a nice little stay for an overnight here. Very clean. Host was super friendly. Didn't hear too much road noise. Minimal cell phone service but nice campfire and great stars which is what we were after! Slept amazing! We'll stay again.

Clean Stop Over
The campground has 19 sites (1 group & 3 double sites), 2 vault toilets, dumpsters but no water or electricity at 8400 feet right next to the heavily used UT 14 highway. Also no cell service.
There is quite a bit of noise, but you get to have dinner and a show, watching the different vehicles.
This is typically a stop over campground with most campers spending one night before continuing their adventure. I spent 10 days catching up with my friends that are the camp host and spend the holiday weekend.
Clean campground, nice sites, but probably not everyone’s ideal spot.

Nice Too Much Traffic Noise
We came here because we couldn't find Deer Haven. We had site No.. 1 and tented. The sites are nicely spaced and nestled in the woods with nice trees (1) The firepits are great (2)! But the traffic was strangely loud. Because it's nestled in a hairpin turn going up an incline (or descending) one hears not only the rubber on the road but the air breaks on huge commercial trucks and V8 diesel pickups revving. It's an okay spot in a pinch but the noise...even in the middle of the night. Vault toilets were clean but the water was not available when we we're there. There is a little creek where I was able to fill up a washing water jug. Oh, and don't forget the elevation. The air is VERY thin if you are not used to it. Also, bring warm stuff for the night even in August!

This campground is close to the road but night traffic was light. The sites are well spaced. The main road has a hairpin curve just past the entrance coming from Cedar City and the GPS took me past the entrance and around the curve.
