Basic Park With Scenic Views

We stayed at Clear Lake this past weekend for one evening. The park personnel were friendly and advised us to a nice spot on the lake where some friends could beach their boat nearby. We were on site 7 which was nice, about 100 yrds up a hill from the shore. The park had maybe 8 RVs this evening and was quite. Full hookups on every site. The park overall needs some attention: grass was tall everywhere and had grown up where previously there was gravel around the picnic table, womens bathroom/shower was out of order due to a leak, boat ramp and day use area were "under construction," so our friends had to put in at a different park. There are very limited activities - no playground or swim beach, trails, etc. Basically you can fish and birdwatch, and of course the view of the lake was nice. We would stay again if other parks nearby were full. We only live 30 minutes from here, and this was our first outing in our new TT.
