Thanksgiving Stay
Really enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights over Thanksgiving. Misty & Peggy took us in like family for Thanksgiving dinner. We had a blow out of one of our trailer tires on Thanksgiving Eve with no way to get a replacement tire until Friday, but the delay was well worth it to meet new friends that we will always remember!

Amazing Staff!
Read a review about Peggy and Misty and decided to go with their park for the night. They had plenty of space for our two vehicles and trailers. Super accommodating and exceptionally friendly! They do their best to have some kind of dessert in the evening and provide breakfast in the morning. They have taken a one-star rv park, cleaned it up, and made it a great place for a stay over. Can do weekly and monthly rates, too. Give them a chance! Oh... the one star review about it being a Facebook only park is completely bogus!!

A great place to relax, easy checking in, level pull throughs, with big spaces. Misty and Peggy are wonderful and gave us water and fresh baked cookies when we arrived. They also recommended Roosters restaurant across the street so we walked over and the food was fantastic. Such a restful place, hope we can come again.

This is a Facebook only rv park. Fair warning. You can ONLY stay if you join Facebook.

Good for an overnight stay. Really need to retire the American flag on the entrance!! Awful sight for a Veteran!

Not bad for a night. Showers need work, but it seems that they are working on it. The women running the place were top notch, and the cinnamon rolls were delivered to our door, and delicious!

Great Hospitality
The ladies who manage the park are very friendly hosts and show great hospitality to their guests. They had fresh coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls in the morning for breakfast, complimentary to their guests. They also had milk, juice, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit to offer. If you have severe cigarette smoke and/or cat allergies, be aware if you go into the house/office. They will come outside to accommodate you for billing if this is a concern for you. We only spent 1 night as we were just passing through and since our RV is self-contained, did not use the restrooms/shower facilities. The spot we were parked in was long enough to park our 38' motorhome with our truck attached and we never had to detach our tow vehicle. The cost was usual for the area with a discount for military, Good Sam and some other memberships. When we come back through the area, we will stay there again.

Never Again
Extremely overpriced for an old, tired ‘campground’ that is more like a parking lot than campground. Right next to the interstate and the bathrooms are gross and original to when it was built. We stayed one night and had there been other options in the area, we would’ve stayed elsewhere. Paid $37 which was highway robbery.

Great Overnight
Easy in and out. Mostly level sites. Friendly staff. Very basic sites. Great for an overnight. We didn’t use the restrooms so can’t give an opinion on those.

No Thanks
Pulled into the place the other day, office door locked despite showing up during regular office hours. Went to the other side thinking I had tried the wrong door. Locked. Called the number, said to just pick a site. Looked around a bit, place seemed like it needed a lot of work. It was cold, snow on the ground and I didn't feel like taking the time to pull into a spot and finding out there were issues. Called another place down the road and made the move. Would not recommend this place.

Retred Headed West For Winter
Nice friendly small campground, full hookups, clean bathrooms, will definitely stay next trip back east! It is close to I-10 so you can hear traffic but didnt stop us from enjoying a great night's sleep!

Disappointing
I made a reservation. When we arrived no one was there and there was nothing telling us what site to pick. There were envelopes to leave your money and it would have been over 40 for us to stay. We tried several pedestals to check for power and our surge protector would not give us the green light on any of them. I tried calling and got an answering machine for some other business. We decided to try another location.

Good Stop Over
Don't let the reviews fool ya, if you are like us, anywhere that has full hookups and is less than $50 on the road is good for us. We don't use anything but the hookups at our site. So with that said, we didn't even look at the bathhouse. The owner was extremely friendly and was not on site due to having a Grand baby born, but she gave good instructions and also gave us (within walking distance) a fantastic place to eat. Rooster's Restaurant across the street is the real deal Mexican with American (Steak) options. Excellent! Will stay again!

Friendly But...
If you like dirt fields covered in dandelions this is your place. Doesn’t appear this place has been given much in the way of TLC for quite some time. Bathrooms? Yikes. WAY overpriced.

Quant And Cozy
If you like birds chirping in the morning, watching steam from your coffee rise and only having a few other RV people, dirt pads, grass fields then this is a great overnight stay for you. Friendly staff, and helpful grounds men. Would want to take shower in our RV not on sight though.

Hidden Gem In Vega
Pulled in late and a neighbor immediately introduced himself and offered his assistance. This shows what type of people this park attracts. Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Great overnight stop. Level and easy pull through sites. We will return for sure.

This was a great stop for the night right off I-40 just west of Amarillo. The owner is very friendly, showers are clean, sites are level and the park was quiet. Just what we needed after driving all night. We would stay again!

Very nice people. Full hookup for a great price. You get a little highway noise but will lull you to sleep. Super level site. We stayed one night and just stabilized the camper without unhooking.

A Gem
We stopped for one night to rest up due to ill wife. We stayed two more nights. The owner was very nice. I will stop here again if driving through Vega and ready for a stop over. Not strong Wi-Fi. Park was very clean and quiet.

Nice and Friendly
Nice little spot for a quick overnight. Owner was friendly and accommodating even though we showed up after 9pm. They do have a night drop check in if you need it. Had a nice breakfast at the Hickory Inn Cafe just down the street. Would definitely stop there again.

We stopped here for one night, Owner operator. Nice park, owner is a little gruff but not a problem. Older park but nice wide pull thru's for the one or two nighters. Nothing special.

Nice Place
We stayed here 1 night. It was quiet and the site was nice and level. Full hookups. It's old and dated, but was very clean. We would stay here again. And Roosters restaurant, across the street was a great place to eat, good authentic Mexican food!

Perfect Spot
Driving from Florida to California and back, I dread going through New Mexico and Arizona. We have stopped at our fair share of really not so good parks. We found this little gem on the way back from California and I will definitely be making it a regular stop on our yearly road trip vacation. Clean, family run and grass!!! Yes, it is a little dated but totally worth it to support a family run business. Super easy on/off i40. We could hear the trucks on the highway but it was nothing like the trains in Arizona and New Mexico. Thank you so much for providing such a great little spot!

A Vegan Adventure
This is a nice place. Restroom , laundry and WiFi. You had to be near the office but that’s the way it’s advertised. Most KOA’s advertise WiFi which does not deliver. Restaurants in walking distance. We like this Rv park and would stay here again.

My Rant
Nice overnighter. Everything works. Owner is very nice and has operated the park for 34 years, is selling. Sites are packed gravel and level. Each site has a large grassy area. Very reasonable at $28/night. A bar across the street called Rooster's. Don't know if they have food. No more Tex-Mex place.
