Love It
Stranded here after rig breakdown last year. Liked it so much we came back for 2 weeks this year. They have a locked bike shed now. I think it’s wise to lock your stuff up at any campground. Also, don’t follow your gps. Use the campground’s directions to avoid low bridges and rough railroad tracks.

Very nice park. On the River walk. Only about 5 miles from downtown. Area surrounding the park is a little rough. Security gate is a must!! Lock up bikes! There is suspicious traffic going into the park! Again a Gate would make this park 5 stars !!

Of all the R V parks that we stayed in from California to Austin Texas this was the best. Check in staff, and maintenance the friendliest. Bathroom, showers, and RV sites were the cleanest and well maintained of all the places that we stayed at. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area.

Close To River Walk
The location is good and bad. Very close to downtown San Antonio and the River Walk. However, it’s in a seedy part of town. While we were there several camp sites had equipment stolen. A security gate would probably help.

Nice park
This park has all the things I rate a park for with high marks, but.....not any security in a poor part of town. Level sites with cement patio, trees for shade, nice dog parks, paved roads and well groomed grass. We picked this park because of the proximity to the River Walk right outside the front entrance. We took our ebikes to the downtown river walk for lunch and rode to the missions and down past Loop 410 for a relaxing ride for 3 of the 5 days we were here. We lock our bikes up in our bins every night but someone who did not had their ebikes stollen. Like I said, not a good part of town and open access to the park with no security. Just be careful what you leave out day or night. I did not like that we could not put our dog pen out even on the patio so my girls could sit outside with us without being tied up.

Close To Almost Everything
The roads getting there are kinda iffy depending on your GPS, but the staff are very courteous and knowledgeable of the area and will give you directions. Make sure you have a water pressure regulator!! Also, military discount was stay 2 nights and we got the 3 night free instead of any of the other discounts we have to include Passport America.

Very good stay
This park was very well maintained and staff very friendly and helpful. There are those that will always find something to complain about but our stay was excellent. All facilities were clean and well maintained, walking trail and good price golf at your doorstep. A little pricy but we received 20% first time discount and by the way KOA was much higher.

Only One Night With PA
Came for one night but ended up with two. Only one night was with PAdiscount though. Nice and clean area, mini golf, playground and pool and small dog pen. No kids allowed in hot tub, but with 110 degrees, who cares.

Friendly staff very helpful to find good restaurants. One of the permanent residence was short with me. Had clean showers with plenty of room. I felt safe in the park and it was only 4 miles from the Alamo. Going down to the Alamo was like a tourist trap, went to one of the missions in the area right across from the trailer park and it turned out to be a very nice. Market BBQ is right beside Texas Roadhouse and tbere twice. About 3 miles from park. Wal-Mart is close by. Would recommend it if you want to stay at San Antonio

Cleanest Park We Have Seen
We are fairly new to the RV life but so far this would be our favorite. $7.00 Uber to the River Walk Most manicured well maintained park we have seen. Very quiet. Meet a great bunch of other RVers ! Not that it should matter but I didn’t see any old RVs in the park

Pleasant Stay
We stayed 2 nights in October 2018. Easy check in and nice level spot. The pool was great and the bathrooms very nice! We enjoyed the fact it was on the Riverwalk. We will stay again!

Compared to the pull through spots, which are nice but cost extra, our back in spot was dirty and old splintered wood table you couldn't sit on. Very unfair. The grass was just mowed weeds, weeds in the rocks, (but not in the pull through spots because remember those cost more) and the electrical box was on the wrong side. Office staff was very condescending. Won't stay there again.

Bad Part Of Town, Pool Reeks Of Chlorine
This campground is located in a bad part of town. The pool is so chlorine infested that my kids could not even stay in it for more than 15 min and complained of their eyes burning even though the did not open them underneath the water. I tripped several times at the edge of the concrete pad, finally realizing that a rusted piece of rebar was sticking out which could have ripped our feet if we would not have discovered it on time. The campground is under construction and the area around the pool is all cluttered. No military discount like they advertise unless you stay a minimum of 3 days. Will not recommend or return.

3 Nights
Came to see the sights, and stayed because park is on bus line to downtown and missions including Alamo. ($2.75 for day pass). Also you can walk to river trail that connects to river walk but was a little hot for us in July. Park is clean and well groomed, pool is very nice, bathrooms & shower very clean and roomy. We enjoyed the workout room, yoga studio and library. Laundry room was wonderful-cool and spotless! Park is very quiet in summer; staff are very friendly and helpful. We did receive discounts for Good Sam, AARP. We will stay again if ever back this way.

Great Spot
Super nice CG close to sights. Very safe & behind South river walk extension. The baths are very clean & updated. I would go back & recommend to everyone. #42 bus stops at entrance & will get you downtown in less than a half hr. $2.75 gets you an all day pass. Great!

Unsafe Neighborhood
Located in a bad part of town. I heard gun shots 2 of the nights I stayed couldn't wait to get out of there. WiFi not good. No privacy, people walk through ur campsite, more so after I complained, this includes the staff. One staff member made sure I saw him cutting through my campsite, trying to antagonize me. The staff r a bunch old cranky retired people who shouldn't b working with the public. I asked to cancel the rest of my stay & was told they don't give refunds. But when I asked for Corporates number, I got a refund! She lied right to my face. The pool & hot tub r way to small. Showers closet to me didn't work, had mold, & one of the water knobs came off in my hand. Way too expensive considering the neighborhood, rude staff, no privacy. Worst campground I have stayed at in the 2 years of have become a full-time RVer.

Dust Bowl
Here for two weeks, won't let you wash your rig. The permments are all washing theirs. Twice they cut scruby weeds and blew dust all over my truck and rig.

Good RV site close to downtown. Very clean, showers ok, staff very friendly. Important to follow the staff's directions on how to get to RV site. Apparently there's a railroad track issue that bottom outs RV and a low underpass that damages tall RVs. J & D 40' MH with tow vehicle

Great RV resort
Only came in for one night but the location was perfect, site level, hookups maintained (electrical box was a great home for critters - but everything worked great). Staff was really friendly when stopped by in the morning. Will stay here again if get the opportunity.

Best Place Ever
If you are visiting San Antonio , this place is a wonderful place to stay. With the city bus stopping right in front of the park we never had to unhook our truck! Extremely helpful staff. Very pet friendly . Very clean environment !!!!!

Great Stay
This was a great visit, four days. RV park is on bus line to the city. There is direct access to the river walk from the RV park. The park is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. When I return to San Antonio in the future I will stay here.
