We stayed here a few years ago and just stayed again this week. It has gone down hill for a federal park.
The dump station for all the camp is terrible. The water hose has a break in the tube and when you turn it on it floods out the base. This runs down to the dip in the gravel of the drive so you have to stand in a puddle. Probably full of sewer water because they don't have a cement apron to pull over around the drain.
Most roads could use some gravel as it rained and there are large puddles all over.
Loop C only has gravel sites. A note for tent campers. There are no showers on site and only one toilet stall for men.
The place is in need of some maintenance for sure. Bathrooms were fairly clean but the lights above have years of mold or crud in them door doesn't close right. List goes on.
There was so much trash at the sites. Fire pits were full of cans and glass bottles. Not just ours butost of them. Cigarette butts are all over.

We have stayed here twice this year. Enjoyed it both times. Bath house is clean, scenery is wonderful, lots of wildlife. Normally quite and lots of hiking, and biking trails. The lake is clean and good fishing. Staff friendly. 30 amp. We will return.
