Sit On The Beach And Read A Book

Yes, the spaces are tight (it’s an older campground) and WiFi or phone signal are iffy at best, but you can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Bring chairs and sunshade and relax. Staff are very nice, and I was happy to see that they do not tolerate loud and/or otherwise bad behavior. The tamale truck coming through the campground was a treat.

Nice Park But Sites Too Small

We stayed at this park from 9/13 to 9/27/2021. The park is steps from the beach and it is well maintained. However, the sites are not large enough to accommodate your RV and vehicle. Overflow parking for vehicles is down the street which is a major hastle. The weekends are too crowded. This park is nice but is too small. We only have a 20 ft trailer and pickup. Most all RV parks accommodate trailer and tow vehicle. Nearness to beach and maintenance are major plusses but site size is a big problem.

Cancellation Due to Coronavirus Fear

We had to change our travel plans at the last minute due to our concerns over the coronavirus. We decided we would feel safer home in Georgia. This RV would not refund our $375 that we paid in advance. I ask if we could rebook for January 2021 when we will be back in Texas. I was told if I rebooked it had to be within a 30 day period. Be sure to review their cancellation policy as they are unwilling to work with you if you cancel. I assure you we WILL NOT be staying at the rv Park when we return in 2021.

It’s a nice place to be close to the beach. A bit of a problem with cable.

On The beach

I really enjoy this park. It is steps from the beach! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sites are very well done and the landscaping is beautiful. I have stayed here two springs in row and will definitely stay next year too!

This is the best RV spot in the area, clean and nice. Friendly staff, only 4 stars as it was a bit expensive. Will definitely come back

Very nice and clean. Sites are a little tight. Thay have all the amentites plus a picnic table. 2 golf cart rental places are walking distance. Some will deliver with advanced reservations. You can drive almost any where in Port Aransas with the carts. We had a blast are are going back for labor day week end. Max number of people over 2 is 8.

Building Project

Ask about building project next door Before you book. Loud equipment from 7 each morning most people left during day. Open beach access no security people drove in off the beach during the night.

Unfortunately

Never made it to the park. Got caught in Houston and called to cancel. They kept the first nights money, including the extra for our kids. I'd hope they'd be more understanding but unfortunately not. Will not try to stay here again

Best RV Park In Port A

Nice park within a 1 minute walk to the beach. We drove around looking at the other RV parks after we checked in as wanted to see if we picked the right place --- and yes we did. If you want to spend a day at the beach, then this is the park for you.

PO'd

All was well until they decided to spread manure over my site. Now I live in a putrid fly infested mess. They only offered me alternative sites that where either not level or also had been fertilized. And just for one night! Why do they even require people to pick up after their pets? ????
