Nice Spot
Very nice. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to a gated RV park, Lake Pointe Resort, located on the shore of Canyon Lake, in Texas. It is a gated community. The office was closed, so we called the off hours number. We were met by a volunteer security officer who lives onsite. He helped us get situated and set up right away. It was $55 an night plus tax, and then you pay for your electricity use when you leave. The area has laundry, ping pong, pools, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, bean bag toss, hiking, and boating activities. Deer are abundant in the area. Purchase deer feed at the main office. The resort is a short distance to the local area supermarket, gas stations, and restaurants. The staff were all very welcoming, as were our neighboring campers. Not a party zone, for which we were very thankful. A great spot for families. Speed limit is no more than 10 mph to avoid spreading of dust, and kids. Sites with 20, 30, and 50 amp hookups with water.

Friendly Service
We are new to the RV experience and chose Lake Pointe as our first site. Needless to say the staff provided us with good friendly service. The location of the site was a bit far to the lake, but still easily accessible. The pool was nice and the park is located in an area that is close to stores, etc in case you need to make a quick run to pick up something you forgot. Overall I would recommend staying at Lake Pointe RV Resort.

Not What We Thought
These guys did a great advertising job. When we got there, gravel spot saturated in live oak leaves. No BBG grill ( glad we brought our own cheap one). Fire pit was about a mile away. No direct lake access except for a trail I found my truck could handle. If you want peace and quiet, they that except for a couple of Harleys that like to out late at night. Staff was quiet nice. This place has potential but it is not in the best right now. I doubt if we will go back.

Quiet Getaway
My original pad wasn't suited for my TT and the staff accommodated my request to move sites. Thank you so much. Nice quiet area. Kids rode bikes and pool was clean. Highly recommended.

Great Views
First RV Park, but I think it has everything you could need, lots of shaded lots, clean, peaceful.
