So Quiet
We stayed here 4 nights. FHU, some sites. This park is really nice, clean, & quiet in a really small town. There is a controlled waterfall on the Blanco River which passes through the park. There is a bridge that needs to be crossed, which can easily flood. So pay attention to the weather. Beware, we dragged coming in & leaving. We will return!

Very Nice Park
Park is on the beautiful Blanco river in the Texas hill country. Very well maintained by a courteous staff & volunteers. We camp here in spring and fall as a getaway from Austin and leave the summer months to the folks on family vacations with the kids. One of our favorites.

Stayed here 2 nights March 17-19, 2018. Park is located about 30 minutes from Luckenbach, TX, and about an hour from San Antonio, that we planned to visit. So, location worked out good for us. Drawback was that we had a full hook up site where sewer would not drain. Rangers tried to clear it without luck, this set us back time wise trying to leave. Texas also charges a park entrance fee per person per day in addition to camping fee.

Happily In It
I was here for only one night and it rained the entire time. This park is well maintained and has covered picnic tables. Would definitely return to this gorgeous area!

Nice Novice Campsite
This is a fantastic little park for the novice camper or the experience camper that just wants to get away for the weekend. Water is a little cold in January but will be going back in June.

Great small state park. Pet friendly, with hiking trails. Park tables are covered, which worked out well when it rained. Friendly staff.
