Service Lacking
Apparently there has been a change in management since our last visit. My wife made reservations for two nights and called again to re-confirm. When we got to Austin - 500+ miles from our home - we were advised that they didn't have any vacancies and didn't have a record of our reservation. Their incompetence not only disrupted our plans with respect to where we would stay, but also killed plans to do other activities with our grandchildren in the immediate area. Cost us money, convenience and caused a good deal of aggravation since they upended all of our vacation plans for Austin. Fun place to stay... but that is meaningless if you can't accept their word. Frankly, they have so many permanents on-site that I don't think they care about part-time vacationers.

Loved It!
This place is great! It's less than 0.2 miles from a number of restaurants and food trucks, including the famous Chuy's and just a bit further to Zilker Park... a local favorite. We walked to Chuy's with our dogs and got to-go tacos (which were excellent). Pecan Grove has a bath house, free WIFI and laundromat but other than that it's pretty short on amenities, but that's not why you stay there. Very cool r.v. community in the middle of a very cool part of Austin. If you like progressive, eclectic communities you will love this place. Rental bikes are available at the entrance and free electric scooters are near by.

Stayed Here Once Before
Super great location if you're into exploring and such. The park is somewhat run down, but WELL worth the price of admission. They're old school there. I love it.

Varying Price
Registered price was $35, price marked up to $60 on arrivals for full connections (water, electricity, and sewer) on UT football game weekend. “Full connections” were in strange locations and electrical was in poor condition (lost power mid-day due to in park power system). Owner quickly resolved electrical power problem during the 100 + temperatures. Bathrooms are older but clean.
Request a location with parking spot & shade, we received neither but there were some available.

Amazing Location !!
This is one of the few remaining urban campgrounds in the country. Located in walkable area in South Austin, a block from the river and two blocks from Barton Springs. Walk downtown and to South Congress Street in 10 minuets. Tons of restaurants nearby. Can be noisy on weekends- there’s a restaurant right next door but they do have live jazz on Sunday!

Great RV Park!
We stayed in the overflow spot, which was just fine. Bathrooms are older but kept very clean. This location is clearly incomparable to any others. Friendly staff and neighbors. We will he visiting again.

Get A Website
Hate wasting time to call... then told 25lb limit for dogs. Ridiculous! Plus the guy on the phone sounds irritated to have to answer questions about rates and availability. Again, get a website and we won’t have to waste your or our time calling.

Location, Location, Location
As a commercial realtor I see how one might say this place should be sold and reborn as high density affordable housing BUT as a fulltime RV'er I never want to see this place disappear. It's a relic. It needs some TLC but so well placed and full of good energy. Best location and decent rates. Bathroom was spotless and $1 laundry machines. Can't beat it!! Live on Pecan. I'll be back!

Discouraged, But We Will Be Back!
This RV park gets five stars for location, you can't beat it for access to anything in central Austin. The RV park is very rundown, not maintained well at all, and the bathrooms are disgusting. However, if you can stay in this location it is well worth living out of your rig for everything. The park is in desperate need of renovation, and there are many long term full-time residents. We were here during the winter, but the shade from the pecan trees would be wonderful.
