Warm Water And Family Fun

Stayed here just overnight. Called in the morning to reserve a spot and the woman on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. She held a spot for us until we got there which was just about closing time for the registration office. Got in before sunset and settled in. Stayed in a pull through (that’s all they had left) for $35. All other sites are $28/night. The sites are very small and close together and that’s the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. We got to take a nice stroll down to the lake as the sun was setting. Water was extremely warm and clear. It looks like they have a lot of cool slides and stuff for kids right on the water. All in all we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely like to come back for a longer visit and to enjoy the activities offered.

Small tight sites, but that's nothing compared to the rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate management that runs the place. If your not a seasonal camper they don't want your business and they have no problem letting you know it. If you want to raise heck and pass out on a picknick table then this is your place. One star only because I have to. Never again.....

Not Worth It!!

The management here, WOW!! I see why the "weekend warrior " have such bad reviews! This is an OK place, the lots are a little close but the grounds are in OK shape. RR are clean but none of that can take away from how rude, inconsiderate, and annoyed by the weekend camper they are. They have a lot of seasonal campers and the are very nice to you but the MTG at this place does NOT like that you are staying. You have the feeling that you are not welcomed by MTG unless you are a seasonal camper. The MTG will talk down to you and seem to be a bother to them if you have a question. Do NOT recommend this place what so ever due to the MTG!! Unfortunate they have such a nice lake and such a crappy MTG it absoulty ruins it!!
