Level up
If you are going to stay here make sure you have the ability to level your rv. Most of the fairly level sites are filled with long term campers so the pickings are slim and very unlevel. The rv sites are also very close together and on a first come basis so get here early but don't plan to hang out outside your camper because there is not a lot of room at each site. That being said it is a very nice place with great views, a great playground, very clean, and very quiet at night except for the train across the river that seems to go by frequently.

We were here approximately 4-5 years ago it was beautiful and still is but I think that a lot of campers have multiple dogs that bark all of the time not good

Great Family Campground
We stayed here for two weeks. Would have stayed longer if work was available. Great campground. Trash was changed daily. Very kept up place. Owners live on premises and are super friendly. Playground for the kids was pressure washed and kept cleaned. Very quiet at night. Seemed everyone was in bed by 9. View of the river was beautiful and very reasonably priced weekly and monthly. Not full hook up but dump station on site. Across from campground is a park with a boat ramp and picnic tables and area for swimming. Restrooms located by swimming area and bath house located in campground. Showers and toilets. Super hot water. We will definitely be back here again while visiting Chattanooga. 25 minutes away from Chattanooga.

not bad
first my experience: I'm Actuve duty on leave, paid for 5 nights but a storm came through and tore up our camp and tents the first night... so we had to go to a motel, no refunds at this place, no exceptions and they are sure and rude to explain that to you... the God of Money wins at this camp...
it's right in the river, TVA campground, no water or electric for tents, RV' s are mostly long term folks so with first come, first serve good luck finding a spot, there are only a few that don't have long term folks there

Convenient "Pull Through" Layout
The pull through spots are all parallel to the roadway, so it's like pulling to the side of the road! My site was very scenic, about 500 yards from the waterfront (and no others between me and the water.)
50/30 amp: $30/$28.
I WILL stay again.

Peaceful
Nice view of the Tennessee River and Nickajack Lake. Plenty of water activities and water access. TVA property with some long term campers. Close too Chattanooga, Tennessee. Quick access to the Interstate.
