Lovely Spot
The camp ground is nicely situated away from the main road, but bot too far. Low traffic noise. There are nice trees surrounding the grounds, a sweet horse, and playground for the kids. The gentleman who runs the place was very kind, and welcoming. The restroom has a hot shower, though the bathroom is nothing special. Great place to walk the dog!

Not The Best Choice...
The owner is a very nice man. The bathhouse is old but clean. Easy access to I-40.Those are the only positives. The sites are not level and caused us to have several camper issues. Most of the sites are filled with permanent residents. Several times there was a over-powering smell of sewage. Very narrow sites we could not put our owning out we have a 16 foot TT without slide outs .The price was very reasonable but we will not be returning.

One Night Stay
We stayed one night. The owner was nice. The sites were so close we couldn't even put our chairs out, no awning out. Toliet hose very close to our door. No picnic table, no fire pit. Lots of permanent residents.

Lay Your Weary Head
We have a 43 ft fifth wheel and called ahead of time for a major holiday weekend and was accommodated.
Four stars only because I did not enjoy the entrance to/from the campsite when getting off/on the road with the RV. If they take the gravel pile that's in the park over there and try and level it out to make it a safer turn off I would give it 5/5.
The man who owns it is Richard, nice man who lives above the office. It is not a state of the art campground, it is a calm place with nice people in the woods next to a lovely horse stable. The bathrooms are older, but clean. Overall we enjoyed our time. Just fix the entrance and it will be even better. :)

Excellent Value, Friendly Staff
$30.50 with GS discount (but cash or check), and I arrived just about full dark but the host came out when I called. Sites FHU, pull-through, blacktop, close and pretty much level. Decent bathhouse. WiFi OK. Quiet. Mostly long term residents, but adequately maintained.

Nice park to stop over for a traveling brake. Going to stay over night, staying two. Friendly staff and clean restrooms and showers. The price is also right.

Very nice little campground. Good laundry facilities, clean bathrooms, and very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are very close together, but the park is quiet and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for the night. Did not use any amenities. Very quiet, easy to get to... very small spaces.

This place has a VERY friendly! The lady actually made room for us. It is quiet, shady, and the necessary rooms were ok too. She also had ice available.
The pads were close together but we did not care. I would surely feel fine about recommending this place to someone passing through.

It Worked
Call ahead we got one of last spots, Coming from VA headed home to OK, pulling 30ft wildwood, Little tight spot but the people were very nice! Right off the interstate, once you turn south go slow the turn to main entrance can be hard to miss especially at night, (they do have a white sign w red letter & arrow) gps missed it, we did find little church couple miles down road we were able to turn around and go back!
