Perfect For Our Overnight
Stayed in #4 with our 24ft Keystone Outback. Plenty of room. Full HU and they were no problem to reach. Easy backing into slot - Host escorted. Clean facilities and close to lots of amenities in town - go check out the Corn Palace. We didn't build a fire but there were some tree limbs hanging over our pit that could have been an issue. I'm sure the Host would take care of this if we had needed it. If you want a open lake view, sit #15 seems to be the best!

Nice Find!
We have enjoyed staying here at Lake Mitchell Campground. There’s generally room for our first come first starter. You can make reservations. But they must be 48 hours in advance or more. Lake is absolutely beautiful lots of fish. Campground is well-kept. Big rig friendly. Right at the edge of town. Has all the amenities. Has boat rentals for paddle boats paddle boards etc. Town offers a good bit of things to do. Prehistoric Indian village site archaeological dig. All corn palace. Zito‘s restaurant or burgers and shakes. We ate there really good. Camp host here or 10 out of 10. Very quiet nobody bother you self check in.
43.50 night can do monthly.

Great Stop!!
$41 includes tax for full hook ups! Clean park all the way around! It has a lot of trees since its right on the lake we did not have an issue.
Most of all: the pay kiosk is sooo easy & straight forward to use!
Thank you city of Mitchell!

Pretty Lake Views
We stayed one night here. Chose a tent site for the nice lake view. We paid about $25 for site. It had water. Dump station in park. Hot showers and clean bathroom. We paid on the credit card machine at park entrance and that worked fine.

Pretty Park
It worked out nicely because it was mostly empty. The trees need trimming but we moved to a site that didn’t have any. However, it was raining and the sewer access was under a muddy puddle. Everything else was good.

Motorhome Owner
We recently stayed here-called ahead-were taken to 2 or 3 spaces b4 settling-this park needs to have trees trimmed seriously-really scratched up our motorhome a lot ! Not happy! The park overall was truly charming but we narrowly missed a tornado that night-3 miles away. But we would definitely come back here!

Shady Sites OK Services
No office, self register with cash in envelopes at entrance, there is a camp host comes around to check. Nice placce for families with play area and lakeside. Some pull-thrus for large rigs and back ins with 3 services. Laundry 2 bucks. Expensive for a city park, discourages families and seniors as there is no discount.

Nice people, the owner Suzanne is friendly. Tent spaces look nice besides the one we got, the tent site E which was a bit disappointing due to its hilly shape. Nice location, by a lake, but primitive bathrooms, it was clean but really old.
