We had reservations but when we pulled into the park it appeared that there were a lot of permanent RV’s and did not appear to be well kept. We cancelled our reservation and went to Lake Mitchell campground which was much nicer looking. A little TLC would have made it look much nicer.

Nice rv park great people running the park. Nice and quiet. Will definitely stop again if I'm in the area. Only 4 stares because wifi isn't the best but there working on it.

The staff were super helpful & had no problem letting us check in a little later than normal hours. They showed us to our spot and assisted in getting us backed in. Great bathrooms/showers. $32/night.

Great Stop When Passing Thru

The family and I were traveling from central iowa to the black hills. It was hot out and we decided not to boondock. It was hetting late at night. Called 3 different campgrounds along I90 and all full. Talked to the owner Jerry and he had room for us. Easy getting off the interstate and getting into. We pulled in at 945 pm, he met us at the entrance and led us to our spot and got us situated. Had full hookup 30 amp in our site. Noticed a lot of 50 amp spots too. Easy pull thru sites.

Location

Great campground. Easy access off I-90, and entrance. Campground owners on site, greet you and take you to your site. We have a 36' 5th wheel, just pulled right into to our site. Water, sewer and 50 amp services. Plenty of distance between sites. Fairly quiet from Interstate traffic noise this time of year. This is one campground to visit and remain on the traveling list.

We’ve been around the US and this is a place we will remember. Access is easy, the park is exceptionally clean and the staff go beyond helpful. Quite and peaceful, despite the name!

Nice campground level sites lots of shade .the staff is very nice they waited after hours for us. They recommended a good place to go eat. If we come back this way we will stop again. They have a nice place for kids to play.

Nice quiet campground. Easy to get to exit 325 off interstate 90 then turn south go about one block on the right. We called ahead knowing that it was going to be late when we were to get there. Give me my site number over the phone and we paid the next morning.
