We Will Be Back
Park has 3 loops on the west side 1 on the east side. Cabins and playgrounds on both sides. We stayed in site 29 on the east side. Very long and level. Quite protected from any wind. Park is just five miles south of I-90 and 25 miles west of Sioux Falls. Boat ramps on both sides. Nice clean bathrooms for those that need them. Say fish jumping on the lake and below the dam.

Beautiful
Beautiful place to camp. Electricity only (50/30amp). Dump sites and potable water available. 30$ a night! We camped on the East side of the lake and had 2 beautiful sunsets to watch!

Easy, Naturally Beautiful & Clean
Wonderful little place to stay for a night or two. State fee is $8 on top of camping fee. The several loops are tidy, ample size camping sites and level. There's a nice little hiking trail and the lake looks like a great fishing spot.

Lovely Park & Very Nice Sites
We stayed here just one night on our way to another destination. The sites were all paved and very level. Plenty of trees for shade. Shower and bathroom facilities were super clean. Camp hosts and park attendant were very nice. There is a lovely one mile walking trail that we enjoyed taking our dog on. It was a little pricey for electric only, but I am happy to support state parks. Please remember if you are not a resident there are additional fees, but I also expect that in order to support state parks. I would stay here again

Beautiful And Clean
We were driving east after being in the Blackhills, and found this place off highway 90. It was not crowded at all. We stayed in the west campground. It was lovely.

Beautiful, Exceptionally Clean
We were traveling to Yellowstone and we were wanting to stay away from the interstate traffic noise. Saw this on the park advisor app. We thought, “Oh there’s no way that they would have anything available.” But to our surprise they had availability. In fact we ended up staying 2 nights. Beautiful lake, very clean campgrounds, restroom/ shower house. Very helpful and friendly staff. We thought it was a new park but found out it’s been here for years. That’s how nice and clean. Too bad it’s so far from where we live as we would definitely stay here often. If ever through this way again we will definitely stay here.

Wonderful Campground
Enjoyed the East campground. Our site there was right on the river. Picnic tables + fire pit + electric hookup. Area is beautiful and well kept. Biking/ fishing/hiking. Highly recommended. Paid $21 per night + $7.50 for out of state. Host let us look inside the brand new cabins on the East side. They are very nice sleeping quarter with all you really need + nice deck with Adirondack chairs.

Beautiful Views & Very Clean
We stayed one overnight in our micro class C Winnebago. Our site was in the east campground, right on the lake, with a short walk to very clean bathroom facilities (excellent showers!). The view was lovely, and the quiet hours well-respected. Electric hookup and easy site check in. Very impressed with SD state park camping. Price includes (required) daily pass to the state park, which is good until 4pm day of checkout.
