Such A Wonderful Staff And Stay
My family and I stayed here last week , and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our stay was so comfortable and we felt very good here. We extended our stay and was always greeted and treated so well when we had questions. We felt very welcomed and accepted in to the camp immediately. We will be staying here in the future.

Wish I could rate lower than a 1 star.....This place is an absolute dump, and the people running it are the most rude I have ever come across while camping. I can't believe that Thousand Trails actually puts there name on this place. Received an email on how to check in. Drive in, pick your spot, and contact them on which site you picked. Nope,, they don't play that. We picked out spot then went to the office to tell them and were told, quite rudely, to leave the property right then. Said they don't go by what Thousand Trails emails out. The only way they let us stay was to pay for another night and still they made us move to another site. Campground is a dump, pool closed due to they can't hire a certified pool person, rude owners, and had our grill stolen while we were there. Don't waste your time here, rather stay at the gas station parking lot. #thousandoakssucks

Gators !!!
It was ok for a night, lots of water if it rains, pool was closed due to chemicals, nice clubhouse pool table, they are working to make it better, kind of pricey but off the road, quiet I would try it again

Improvement from first visit
We where here in July & enjoyed the park not a lot to do outside the park you will need to drive a lot. This visit we saw improvements inside the park. A dog park has been added & we saw other projects being done. Good spot to rest on your way in or out of Florida.

Spent 1 night. Plugged in upon arrival and blew all my power on my brand new 2020 camper. Had to turn around and return to dealership for repair. Cancelled entire summer trip.

Worst Camping Experience Ever
If I could give a 0 star rating I would. The manager calls me to tell me that since I had to hurry home for a covid related family emergency, I would be charged $32 a night while my rig was unoccupied. Run away from Thousand Trails and all their parks. They left me hanging during the lockdown as well by canceling my reservations and not offering me any alternative or refund. I am full time and this nearly put me out!

Bad water drainage
We stayed as part of our Thousand Trails membership so we didn't pay for our 6 nights. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Level site. Friendly front office. It's "close" to Savannah and Charleston. We drove each day between 30-90 minutes away to explore a new town or beach so we didn't spend much time in the campground. The campground amenities are pretty sparse, but we didn't really see many cars during the day. Most of the people we talked to were out exploring all day like us. There aren't any grocery stores nearby so you'll want to make sure you stock up when you're out exploring. And gas prices were much higher at the stations near the RV park so get gas when you're out as well. We had no service with our Verizon jetpack in the area but our AT&T phones worked well. It rains here. All that water has to go somewhere and I guess that's why they call it lowcountry...the water just stays in the campground. Most of the campground was a wet, muddy mess.

Clean And Level
I thought we should post a review because they put in new gravel. So the past reviews about the mud don't apply anymore. Its clean, safe and seems like any of the sites would be easy to level out on. Gave it 4 stars because they don't have wifi. (Other than at the club house)

Very nice staff but the park was a bit too muddy for me. I was in a pool after it rained.

Good Place
It is a nice stop for the long road. Everything is clean, good pool, people is very nice. The roads are dirt, but they were ok. They have a nice trail to walk . I will be back.

Roads
The roads were not the best and very muddy. The price for the night is ok. The hole camp ground is very very very outdated and full of long term campers with confederate flags and dear skulls outside of there campers. I would never do more than one day at this place.

Oaks At Point South
Campground would be good if they did something for the roads. I was fortunate that my truck is 4x4 as the mud was deep. The water doesn't drain off anywhere and remained for all 4 days we were there. Walking the dog was a chore as you were constantly skirting puddles and boggs. The location is nice with lots of tall trees and quiet for as close as it is to the interstate, but we gave up a day early because the water was just too much.
