There are actually 32 sites available. All sites have 30 and 50 amp service except sites on leg 3, which are 30 amp only. All sites have water. There are two bathhouses with heated showers. All sites have direct access to the lake. Many campers use the convenient boat ramp (for registered campers only) between sites 6 and 7 to launch their boats then beach them at their campsites. Camp sites are more dispersed here than at other campgrounds with plenty of trees and shade. Roads are paved and sites are hard packed and mostly level. Tent campers are welcome. Many campers have been coming here for decades. It is family oriented and quiet. A common description is peaceful. The current Park Attendant has worked hard to make sure the bathhouses are clean, the campsites prepared for campers, any litter removed immediately, and helps campers enjoy their camping experience. Campers help determine the cleanliness of the campground - they appreciate his efforts and are now “partners” helping him.

Park is ok, most sites are steep and are covered with poison ivy, so don’t bring a dog here.

This is one of my favorite parks. All sites have plenty of shade, most sites have direct access to the water.
