Decent for Overnight Stay

Spent one night here in pull through site #24 & kept our Jeep hooked up to our motor home. Easy access off Interstate 20. Manager Louise is friendly and helpful. Didn’t use the restroom or shower as we have our own. Took a walk through the park and it appears most people staying here are permanent or are here to work in the area for an extended time. Each site is fairly tidy. Flower gardens are pretty. Property looks well-maintained. Roads are gravel & sand. There’s an area in the back with a mini horse, donkey and goats. Some noise from the interstate nearby. A couple gas stations and fast food places a couple miles into town.

Ok Campground

We came down to attend our sons graduation from Fort Jackson. Closest rv park to the base. The office is only open for 1 hour in the am and 2 hours in the pm. When we paid for our site the lady in the office told us that there was only one hub for 90 trailers for wifi, they dont like you watching Netflix. Really?? Is it any of their businesses what we watch inside our rv??? They dont like you facing your campers together, which we traveled with family and wanted to be able to share the space between. We were also told we could not have our awnings touching,,which they were not. All these rules were not posted any place. There's also alot of sand which is filled with ants that bite. My advice? I would not recommend coming here.

Location, Location, Location

Google will send you about 5 miles north of actual location. Use the GPS coordinates or address from their website. Didn't stay but used their dump station for $5. No potable water at dump station.

No Pop-up Trailers

Owner won't allow pop up campers Also won't allow rv's older than 2000 for some reason.

Convenient

The location tag on this app is off but the campground is convenient (right off I20 at 601 and 12). Spots are large, grassy with some shade. Place is quiet and people nice. We are here for graduation at Ft Jackson and for doing some sightseeing.
