Lovely and quiet!

Wonderful campground with dozens of songbirds, well-maintained sites and hot showers! Very close man-made lake is great for fishing and paddling and a swimming area. Lack of use nearly closed this little gem, which led to the closure of the restroom at the swimming/day use area (they've installed temporary toilets), but the peace and quiet are perfect for a weekend tent camping trip getaway from Greenville or Augusta! It's a mystery why this place isn't full all the time. It is one of the nicest campgrounds I've used, and at only $15 per night ($7.50 with senior or disabled pass), among the least expensive you'll find anywhere!
