A Little Run Down, But Okay Campground

At first sight we didn't think we would like it here. We could barely fit our 34ft trailer because the sites are so tight. Workers ended up being extremely helpful and pleasant Most sites are people who are seasonal. They're all very nice and friendly. Not a lot of regular sites. The pool was kept clean and good temp. Laundry and bathroom facilities are not up to our standards for glamping, but they were clean. Had cable, but only 16 channels. WiFi was horrible and nonexistent. The site needed leveling and the patio was old and cracked. People were the highlight of this CG. Area isn't great either

This is a great campground. Clean and well kept. Stayed the month of August for what a week at Myrtle Beach would cost. Lots of things to do in the area from fossil hunting to amusement park. Wifi is weak but really didn't need it,just used my phone. We didn't watch much TV but it was a little fuzzy. The seasonal people we ment were all very nice. I will be going back next year.

Not Our Fantasy

I don’t know whose fantasy this place is, but certainly not ours. Way way way too packed. Every possible inch has someone squeezed into it. Everyone has multiple cars, our RV has to be right up against someone else’s patio area. Children screaming, motorcycles roaring past well into the night. Multiple people left trash outside their campers. And then the screaming started again promptly at 8am. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Will not be back, there are other options. I’m sure the river is pretty but couldn’t possibly get to it with the sheer number of people all jammed up against one another.

Nice little campground. Great family atmosphere. It’s nice to have the Susquehanna river right nearby. Love this place.
