Revisiting
First visit since it became a KOA. FHU good, bring donut for old style non threaded sewer. WIFI actually slowed connection, use LTE. Good Verizon signal. Paved roads, gravel sites, slight slope back to front. Midweek OK, weekends full. Many campfires render outside air toxic at night, neighbors fire ring likely to be 5 or 6 feet from your windows. Pleasant friendly staff. Store very limited.

Lancaster/New Holland KOA
Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views overlooking the Amish farmland. We love the drive into Intercourse where Kitchen Kettle Village is. We spend the day there. This campground is the Lancaster/New Holland KOA.

Rude
Beautiful view of the Lancaster valley. Peaceful. These are the plus side of this review. Now for the negative. Owners are downright rude in all interactions. Not pleasant at all.
Also seems like a 50+ community. We did not see children.

All of the positive quotes of previous campers are correct. One of the most scenic places we have ever stayed. The Amish carriages come right by the campground. Excellently maintained The views are beautiful!

Spectacular View
The view of the Amish farm country from our campsite was spectacular. The utilities were well placed on our pull through site. The water pressure is low and the sewer connection wasn't threaded. The cable TV worked well. The wifi was hit and miss. I was initially put off by having to stop at a gate and exit my motorhome to call the office on an intercom in order to gain entrance to the campground. It made me wonder if the campground was in the Amish hood and they needed the protection. I never did discover the reason for this level of security in this apparently safe area. I would return because of the view.

Not Your Typical KOA
This is not your typical KOA. There's no amenities such as a pool, planned activities, camp store. This was once an adults only camp ground. The owners back then are the same now just for some reason KOA put there name on this place which is rather disturbing. The owners are not at all friendly and quite frankly rude. It's very clear they do not like kids, and do not like more than two people per camper. I've never seen people treated more badly. If you have kids, or like to have a good time, enjoy the friendly camping atmosphere, enjoy feeling welcome, do not stay here- you will regret it. If your after a nice view, are not bothered by sarcastic and rude owners- then this is your place- have fun. KOA needs to revisit this situation and get rid of these people or pull out and let them go under. It's funny that we checked out 4 local campgrounds within 30 minutes of here, they all were booked- this place was 60% full. Wonder why?

This is now a KOA. A beautiful campground, we went back several times for a weekend getaway. Just minutes from Intercourse PA, and shopping. This is a quiet, peaceful location overlooking Amish Country and farms. Located on a bluff, almost every site provides a view. The campground is well maintained and the staff are friendly. Perhaps not the best place for children looking for entertainment. Adults, sit back and enjoy the peace and the Amish Culture and surroundings.

Not much for kids to do.
