Big Sites, Not Much Privacy

Nice big sites. Lots of shade trees, hence the name. Great hosts. Just not enough privacy for me between sites. Good place for a quick pass through. We stayed here for a mountain bike trip to Jake's Rocks.

Disappointed

One night stay. Got a site with no fire ring or picnic table. Pull thru between to large pine trees just enough to get our slide out but no enough room to open our awning. Shower/rest room adequatet but only two commodes in men’s room and other out of order. Not very nice or clean. Way better off to stay at a PA DCNR campground. Nicer cleaner and cheaper. Won’t be back.

Escape From The Road

Wanted one night; stayed two. Gravel pads; darned level. Easy to access utilities. Good [city] water pressure. Good distance from the highway. Activity areas and equipment for the young ones. Clean and warm washrooms. New and large capacity laundry equipment ($3.00 wash load) Amenities are limited at this time. No cable, WiFi only near the office. When the owner gets the swimming pool in, and work has started, it should merit more stars.

Awesome campground! Trees. Shade sun. Friendly people easy to find.

Nice park, lot's of trees. Spaces are grassy and are easy to into pull. Spaces could be a little more level for campers that are staying just the night. Management seems to be very friendly. There are a lot of full timers because the park is open all year round. We where just passing through for night so it was all we needed.

Quiet. Right off the highway. Flat - nice trees. Sites are grass under the pines. Clean
