Nice, Quick Weekend Getaway

Helpful park rangers, well-kept grounds, level sites, clean rest rooms, picnic tables and fire rings. Local firewood was only about a mile away but in a residential neighborhood. I’m 24’, Bigger rigs could have a problem. Fresh water and dump station by the Park office. Nice playground. No real view of the lake from the campground, you need to drive to it. Close to rodeo grounds? We could hear the announcer from the site but it was wrapped up by 10:30-ish. All-in-all, nice place. We did have some questionable neighbors but we’re able to change sites via a phone call to the park office.
