Beautiful Lake

Very quiet area. The campsites are easy to get in and out. Very clean area. We loved the beautiful lake. There is a trail that we walked that took us all around the lake. We will visit again in the future.

Sad To Say Goodbye

This was actually my go to campground in years past, but at some point they changed their policy and made it a 5 NIGHT MINIMUM during the height of season! I asked when did this happen and they said " oh its always been that way" thats not true at all we camped there many 3 day weekends in years past! What about the people who dont get an entire week off to camp!?!? So its either you pay for 3 nights you wont use or just dont come here, OR, we only want you here for two nights when we need the money when people arent in the height of vacation season! Sad to say i will not return, really loved this campground but i dont feel that forcing people into a 5 night minimum is right when most ALL other campgrounds only have a 3 night minimum holiday stay and the rest of the season is whatever days you can do. Apparently theyre only interested in catering to the people who have big rigs that pay big money!

Nice For A Weekend

Awesome campground for a weekend getaway. Prices in store are a little steep, but they do have quite a bit.

Camper

We have been going here for 20+ years. Its our home away from home. We tent camped up until last year when we bought an RV. Our children grew up there. Plenty for everyone to do or just relax. Yes it can be pricey and we have watched this place grow BUT you get what you pay for. Family atmosphere. We will continue to go every year!

We stayed on our way up to the NE states so we got there late and then left early. The campsites were nice and clean and so where the bathrooms. Only problem we had was when putting up our tipi the shale rock underneath the gravel in the campsites was hard to put stakes in. We were not the only one having issues so where our neighbors with their tent.

Over Priced, Rude Over The Phone

High charges, extra charges on the kids , over priced with nothing to offer. Showers where on cold side. Reservations lady was rude.

Peaceful & Clean

Was invited by friends 2 years ago, have went everything since. Staff is very accommodating, clean sites and the bath houses are super clean. Fun activities for everyone. I drive over 6 hours to stay for a long weekend. Time we'll spent. Check rules on CC. Mountain Road to entrance.
