Don't Go Here

Run down not well maintained at all. Seasonals seem to do whatever they want. Mini golf is sunk in the ground. Tiny bridge to cross. Bathrooms are gross. And you have to pay for the shower. Only nice thing about the park is the pond. I've seen seasonal people drive around on their golf carts drunk and reckless. It's a shame I used to go here often 20 years ago. I will never go back.

Website Was Very Misleading

Very outdated, run down and not maintained. Website says clean, modern restrooms and showers. No locks on bathroom doors. Coin operated showers (not mentioned on website). Mini golf is falling apart. But as long as the kids have a pool they are ok. Took the kids for a swim at 7pm. Nope, lady says to us “it closed at dark/7pm”. (It was light out last night til almost 9pm.) Website and pool gate say “open 11-8” from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Our site was a wreck. Showed up with grass almost up to our knees, where there wasn’t mud. The campground wasn’t even close to full, but they put us in 2 of the 3 sites that were muddy with standing water. All they would have to do to combat the mud and water, is being in more of the gravel that they have in other sites. With last nights rain, we are walking through inches of mud before we get to our outdoor mat, that is now completely soaked through with an inch or 2 of muddy water.
