Remote, Dark Sky
I was impressed by the solar panels at the tent sites for charging cell phones. Horseshoe pit and large pet area are nice. No lighting at night makes for great star photography. Trails, both up and down river are effortless strolls with scenic vistas. Parts are closed during Bald Eagle nesting season.
There are cabins to rent and information signs explaining the geology and habitat of the area. Very clean and we'll maintained park.

Nice Park
Very scenic with several nice hikes at canyon level and above. Nicest showers we have ever seen at a state campground, but otherwise minimal facilities. We will return, for sure.

Big, Open, Beautiful
Beautiful location and campground. Wide open sites. Trails are great but are too few and too short.

great getaway spot
pretty nice newly constructed state park. set in the back of a beautiful canyon. really nice river with many points to fish or swim from or pretty long river trail to occupy your time. no cell service so perfect if your trying to get off the grid for awhile.
