As noted in another review, this state park is focused on using the lake. Solar showers. Clean restrooms. Both shaded and unshaded spots, drive through and back in. But no cell phone service (thus 4 stars). Great for an overnight stay if driving on 26 and prefer electric hookup over the numerous NFS campgrounds further west.

Mainly For Lake Users
Not much here for overnighters or campers not using the lake. Lots of fire related restriction on outdoor devices. Not much hiking or shore based activities. Note that even Oregon State Parks refers to this as a "recreation area", and not a park. If you are stopping overnight or for an extended road rest, Bates State Park, which is nearby to the west is a better option.

Normally Better
Water problem left all sites, bathrooms, and toilets inoperable. Park hosts and staff unresponsive.
