What a beautiful place! Highly recommend! Make sure you go and hike the black loch point and kayak the creek to the river. The hosts were so kind. Came back from their drive to dinner to drop us off firewood.

Tented here when hiking the coast. A nice stop $15 for tent no car. Great water, picnic tables, quiet (our night), nice host. Would come again.

Wind Surfers Dream
To be clear, we don't wind surf, but stumbled on this delightful, small county park by exploring a back road to get closer to the beach. A full-time host watches over the park and prefers you stop at his trailer on the way in. First arrivals get the view sites on the ridge overlooking he lake with sunset views. Lower sites along the loop lose the view and avoid much of the stiff coastal breeze that draws people to this lake. A quiet, comfortable site with a nice trail along the lake to a gap in the dunes opening to a LONG beach. You could probably walk for 20 miles if you have the time. We loved the tiny colored gravel visible near the lake and in patches on the beach. Great park. Will be be back!

Great camp for the price. It even has an inexpensive laundry. $25/night for electric and water hookups.

Perfect Little Park Beside Floras Lake
Reminded me of more popular wind-surfing days - every site must have had a wet suit hanging out to dry. It was quieter but just as pretty with the lake right up near the beach and the sound of the ocean waves in the distance. A surf shack rents out wind surfing equipment, kayaks and paddle boards. Boats and jet skis are also on the lake. Potential for great fun! The rv sites with hook-ups were full so we were offered dry camping spots to the rear of the park.

Wifi now. Elect. Showers (pay) laundry. Nice level paved sites over looking lake but you can see ocean too. Wind surfers to watch. Out of the way and in farm land. Very nice and good value
